G.G. Goings on: Noosa Food and Wine and Superbutcher sale

This weekend is the Noosa Food and Wine Festival. It is the the most fabulous festival held at one of my most favourite places in the whole world. Do yourself the favour of going. It really does blow any other QLD based festivals out of the water. The lineup of amazing chefs from around the world is really something spesh and it's fabulous to be able to wander around amongst it all. Go there, even if it is just for the day. Tickets are available at the gate.

Don't forget to get up early and head to the best ever Farmer's Markets held every Sunday morning whilst you are there.
 Aside from the festival, the beautiful beaches and the National parks, there are heaps of other places to eat at if you haven't already chowed down at the festival. I've only listed a few, but they are goodens...
  • Canteen - Great little spot at Noosa Junction for Breakfast;
  • Wasabi - For elegant, lovely Japanese;
  • Thomas Corner - great place with honestly awesome baguettes;
  • Gaston- Unfussy food in Downtown Noosa;
  • Massimo's- Gelati Store with a cult following;
  • Fratellini's - If you are so inclined to be at Sunshine Beach.
Superbutcher recently announced some sad news. They have gone into administration and are undergoing a change of ownership. However, things are still running as usual, and they are having a super massive giant crazy sale, so pop in there, pop on an amazingly attractive fluro shop jacket and say goodbye to Andrew whilst you stock up on some grass fed beef.
