Sydney visit gone wrong

So from my previous posts, you can see that I've been kicking it in Syd, eating my way around and having a glorious old time. I've still got some posts to write up -The four in hand in Paddo, Toko and El loco once I get a chance. Don't you think it's just fab that I actually had two restaurants that rhyme? Not intentional of course.

So what could possibly go wrong, you wonder? Well today, I was supposed to be catching a flight to my second mini break destination, but instead I'm stuck here in bed waiting to see the doctor. Obviously I haven't slept all night and am pretty sick of myself aswell as being sick, hence the blog post. Thankyou Ipad. Readers, You can't accuse me of only seeing me at my best now- can you?

I've managed to pick up some hideously nasty virus or bad infection and to be honest, I can't remember a time I've ever been so sick. I'm lucky to have my sis here to look after me but am missing some of my other favourite things/people. You know what it's like when you are ill, you want the things you miss the most to make you feel even a little better.

Luckily, I remembered the 13health line and called it (even though I'm in syd-tres naughty) and when I told the nurse my symptoms, she told me to swiftly get my butt to hospital in an ambulance!

Of course, I didn't take her advice (tres naughty) but have made my own way to see a medical professional and scope out what the hell is wrong with me. I'm actually worried about the amount of weight I'm losing but I figure that just prior to Christmas with me being a food devour-er and all, that may not be all bad. Maybe I'll request a Habberfield cheesecake for my dreaded day (Bday which I'll probably not talk about again as it is looming) and eat the whole lot by myself - that should take care of that.

Anyway, just a small update so instead of me writing posts about the beach and the lovely food I'll be eating whilst I'm there, I'm writing this instead. Hopefully later in the day once the doctor speaks to me, they will pump me full of meds and let me go to my next destination! While I'm laying here, I might get time to finally delete a whole lot of old posts that are no longer really relevant. Don't worry- there will be plenty of new posts to replace soon x
