Yum Yum Yum-Cha

Just a very quick post to express my love for seasme beans at Yum-Cha. I will do a whole Yum-Cha segment soon, but couldn't resist blogging about these beautiful beans!

The beans are piled high on a plate and there is nothing I love more than to bite into a still crunchy bean coated with delicious seasme sauce and seeds with chilli. I almost squeal with delight everytime I spot the lady with the beans on her trolley.

Make sure you grab some next time you are at Yum- Cha. I'm contemplating making them for dinner as the perfect accompanyment to Chinese Fillet Steak. I'm quite sure they won't look like this- or taste as good but I'm going to give it a go anyway. (Please note- I had eaten almost the whole plate before I could manage to stop and take a photo)

thanks for the suggestion about seasme beans, I too am a lover of yum cha and have never ventured to try the delectable greens. How did the experiment at home go? did they turn out ok?
waiting with baited breath till the full installment of yum cha delights is posted on your blog...
