Robert Channon Wines 'Twilight Opera Concert and Dinner'

Today I received an email about a cool 'Opera in the Vineyards' style event in Stanthorpe at Robert Channon Wineries. I have been to events at Robert Channon Wines and had a blast. The food was good and the wine was even better. The event I attended had a Mexican theme and it was here that I tasted one of the best tortillas EVER.

Just to put it out there, Emma Channon (daughter of the vineyard owner) is one of my friends and through my connections have had the great fortune to taste test some of their wines, and they really are good. I don't believe I am biased, but I know the judges of many wine competitions certainly aren't and Robert Channon Winery have received awards for everything from their port to their chardonnay and most notably their verdelho.

Now I know this could seem like a plug for a friend, but taste their wine yourselves and you will see what all the raving is about!

If you want to combine some wine tasting with some Twilight Opera in a picturesque setting, with what looks to be a a very yummy menu, the details are listed below.

Thanks Chris,
Will be on the lookout for some fresh pastitsies. My maltese next door neighbours used to make these filled with and they were yum. If I track them down, I will be sure to let you know if/when I find them. I LOVE a good food challenge!!
